The Sour Sop or the fruit from the graviola tree.

Featured Replies

Hi,

Anybody know where you can get this fruit, and the name in thai, if known.

Thanks.

When I was in a Bhuddist temple in California recently, one of the monks showed me a bottle Graviola capsules and talked about its cancer-killing properties. Upon reading the label, I found that it was made from soursop plant leaves, not the fruit. I love the fruit itself (mangcao in Vietnamese) but I wonder if the medicinal properties are only found in the leaves. BTW, the local Chinese-Vietnamese stores in California sell soursop juice in a can and it makes for a nice cool drink.
