Evening,

I've just found out that a friend has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Samitivej has confirmed that it is operable and has advised her to go to "Phayathai 2" as they are the best in Thailand. I'm, however, after a second opinion. I've always thought that Bumrungrad was the best hospital....

She's a mid seventies smoker who also takes medication for hypertension.

So, does anyone know where she should be treated?

It is not a question of "where" by "who"

There is no such thing as a "best" hospital. Doctors of varying levels of skill can be found in virtually all.

If I knew which surgeon at Phyathai she was referred to, as well as the type of lung cancer (small cell/non-small cell) might be able to advice further
