We here in the news that the government has done some cleaning up in the taxi industry and cleared the beaches. Then we hear from posters here in Chiang Mai that every thing is the same.

I was down there about a month ago and I thought the taxi fares were high but I noticed all of the cab drivers had the same price.

I am not a fool who thinks that every thing is perfect. I just wanted to know the truth so I thought I will ask the people who live there.

Thank you all for any information you may be able to pass on to me. Don't waste my time or your time telling me the government is not elected. I already know that and I know we are under Marshal law. Just interested in the honest results. Is it better?

Is the Taxi situation still the same at the airport. Are there still illegal taxi's?

Are all the beach chairs gone? Has there been a lessoning in the jet ski scams?
