Two Briefings And Evacuation Drills Will Be Held In 2 Local Communities Next Week.

The Asian Disaster Preparedness Center or ADPC have informed us that, in collaboration with Department of Disaster Prevention & Mitigation, Dr. Bhichit, a consultant for ADPC and his team will hold public hearings and meetings on community committee plans and tsunami evacuation drills in 2 villages: firstly at Koh Yao Yai, Phang Nga, with a meeting at 7pm on Wednesday evening the 2nd of August, and then next day at 9am an Evacuation practice & Drill on Thursday 3rd of August 2006.

They will also hold a public hearing and meeting in Paklok, Phuket at 8pm on Thursday 3rd of August and next day an Evacuation practice and Drill at 9am on Friday 4th August. For more information contact khun
