Whereabouts are the plastic surgery clinics located in Bangkok ?

Whereabouts are the plastic surgery clinics located in Bangkok ?

Is there an area in Bangkok where I can find several plastic surgery clinics in one area ?

What is the name of the area ?

Thanks

Plastic surgery should never be performed in a clinic. Rather, it should be performed in a hospital with all the emergency facilities available on-site. Of equal importance is the training of the surgeon and his/her medical reputation and speciality.

Start with the doctor (research), then the hospital (international standard only, and in Bangkok). Stay away from all clinics. It would be your ultimate nightmare to be stuck in traffic in an ambulance in Bangkok traffic having to travel from a clinic to a hospital for emergency treatment

Are we talking cosmetic surgery?

I know of one in Siam Square having met a girl that worked there, but don't remember the name.

Yeah, if you're looking for cosmetic surgery and want a bunch grouped together then you might as well head to the second floor of Siam Paragon- there's a whole row of them.

Not so sure about actual plastic surgery though.

Absolutely agree. Stand-alone plastic surgery clinics in Thailand are very dangerous.

All hospitals have a plastic surgery department. Stick to them.

An otherwise healthy young British woman just recently died as a result of having plastic surgery in a clinic.

If you would indicate what it is you want done, might be able to give a more specific suggestion.

Cosmetic surgery clinics are all over Bangkok....thong Lor has hundreds, Siam paragon, the area near MBK has hundreds, every shopping mall has a handful at least, often more, there are literally thousands of them. It doesn't matter where you are in Bangkok, just open your eyes and you will see them.

I would be careful though, the more I started to notice all these clinics the more I sense something is wrong....like paying first world prices for third world quality etc....as if they aren't cutting corners then how can so many clinics stay in business?

Most clinics actually operate you in hospital (I did)

The problem is the result, these guys should be called butchers
