Could someone let me know when the last buses leave from the airport for Mo Chit bus terminal?? I think the rail link closes at midnight but need a time later then that and why I was wondering about the buses.

Thanks in advance.

there is NO direct bus, (citybus) nor has there ever been.

BY default you could go to Mochit BUS=2 via a BKS bus dropping off pax at Swampy BUS-but thats always unsure.

Use brains: in general Mochit BUS is also dead @ nite and not that safe-better tell either where to go to finally-there may even be other links, or wait @ airport till morning.

If you can get to Hua Lamphong railway station, or MBK the nom 29 bus runs all night .from Hualamphong to Rangsit, get off at Chatuchak, then taxi to Morchit.

If I may be so bold to ask,why do you what to get to Morchit at say 02.00 am, most if not all the night buses will have left by then.

,I have been at Mo Chit at midnight before, it was interesting to say the least, and with bags etc not easy .

I use Morchit a lot ,if I was you, say at a hotel in town and go there in the morning.

Thanks for the info. Actually, it was to help my Thai friend returning here from Taiwan as he has a late flight arriving in BKK. He just wanted to get over to Mochit to catch the bus to Korat. I will let him figure it out once to the airport. Thanks again.

I could be wrong, but the direct BKK- Korat buses, the last one would leave at about 21/22.00, hours, most of the night buses are long distance, all the Isan buses will stop at Korat.

The Transport Co,or Bor-Kor-Sor,in Thai, who run the Thai buses, have a call center for bus imformation, phone 1490,not used it for a long time, should still be working.

Good luck.

I have taken a 2 AM Korat bus and Korat buses run 24/7. At night not as often as during the day but there will be at least one bus per hour.

Kickstart: getting a cab from the airport to MBK and then another from Chatuchak to Morchit will not generate huge savings. Maybe better to take a cab and DO NOT use the toll way to Ratchadapisek. Up Ratchada and on to Morchit mayb 350 baht total?

Chatuchak to Morchit will be at least 70-80 baht due to the traffic routing.

I have the same question as the OP. IS there a post-midnite public bus or a Van service out of the airport to the city.
