It is proposed that the old slogan "No Money, No Honey" be replaced with a new slogan that better reflects Pattaya's continuing development into a thriving, vibrant city.

/Mod Edit - offensive wording in Poll options edited.

I think the slogans and all of the stupid books be burned, "no money, no honey" and "money no1" :o

What about "The Fool in Paradise" and "The Fool is Back" ?

New city slogan :

Poo-ying Luv You Mak Mak

(from the ever more popular Pattaya Pattaya song !) :D

"No Money, No Honey" substituted for "No Cash, No Gash"? May I suggest "[Censored]" as the better replacement?

Some of the other words in this poll might also be checked on the offensiveness meter e.g. "Stool".

Careful now. Discussing (Questioning) Moderator decisions is generally frowned upon. The best option is to PM the Mod in question.

Less chance of getting into trouble that way. :o

I would like to remind the members of the forum that the age of the readers of this forum cannot be determined... and your words could in fact be read by minors.

From the Forum Rules:

1) You will not use thaivisa.com to post any material which is knowingly or can be reasonably construed as false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, referencing suicide, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.

If you want to call my editing of the poll options as censorship, up to you. I prefer to see it as keeping posts within the guidelines of normally acceptable behaviour, and the Forum Rules as laid down by ThaiVisa Admin.

If you wish to post topics with subject matter and/or wording which falls outside that criteria, then there are other forums on the internet that would probably be only too happy to accept your contributions.

Thanks for your understanding.

In Sri Racha we have "Sri Racha, The city of lively and fun"

How about "Pattaya, keeps getting fattier"

Or were you referring to the young lad visiting from another place ?
