BANGKOK, Nov 20 -- Thailand's Board of Investment (BoI) admits that foreign investment is declining, and a top banker warns that the government's economic stimulus policies will fail if its populist policies cause a rise in household debt.

BoT blames politics and export slump for slow economic growth

BANGKOK, 20 November 2014 (NNT) – The Bank of Thailand (BoT) has indicated a possibility for this year’s economic growth to end up at 1 percent while attributing the lackluster figure to political turmoil and sluggish exports.

'SET in the City' targets over 100,000 visitors

BANGKOK: -- The annual year-end investment promotion event, SET in the City, should attract over 100,000 visitors, said Finance Minister Sommai Phasee.


Over 18,000 transactions are expected during the four days, he added.

Starting today, the event at Siam Paragon will run through November 23.
