Agreed. BTW did you know she only received 1500+ votes, the rest via PUP preferences.

The 7,000 new places allotted is really replacing the numbers earlier slashed from the intake by Abbott govt. Annual intake number will gradually be increased over a four year period to 7,000 & decision could always be reversed. Accepted applicants would be managed via UNHCR priorities, but not for those subjected to the PNG Solution.
