Re-entry permit needed with double/triple entry visa?

Featured Replies

I entered Thailand 2 months ago on a triple entry tourist visa and I just extended my first stay with 30 days before i go to cambodia in january. My question is this: Do I need to apply for a re-entry permit even though I was granted 3 entrys from the begining when i got my visa at the thai embassy in Stockholm? I figure I shouldnt have to since my triple entry cost me almost 3 times as much as a single entry would have but I want to be on the safe side.

Thank you.

No, a re-entry permit only protects your current permit to stay.

After your trip you will be stamped for a new 60 day stay using the second entry of your visa.

Be aware that ALL the entries on your triple must be used before the 'enter before' date of your visa, so watch the dates if you extend your second entry.
