Washy Mashy is going out of business

Featured Replies

For those who get their dry cleaning or laundry done here, they are closing their doors on Dec. 30. Huay Geow Road near KSG.

I once followed the instructions in a laundry and was arrested.

On the wall it said PLEASE REMOVE ALL YOUR CLOTHES WHEN THE LIGHT GOES OUT

Lotta competition in that area for basic laundry. The problem is I can't think of another dry cleaning place nearby. Thanks for the heads up.

There is a laundry service and, I think, a dry cleaning service at the Orchid Hotel next door to KSK.

Oh wow! I'm glad we got our curtains cleaned a month or two ago. Hubby says they've had a For Sale sign on the building for a while. Should be interesting to see what goes into that block. Perfect place for another new condo building.

I think that place at the Orchid Hotel is just a drop-off point with staff that has no clue. Not like the folks who owned and worked at Washy Mashy. They knew their laundry!

So it's official, the end of the whole Washy-Mashy "thing". Was planning to having window curtains dry cleaned there after high season.

For clothing items is there not a cleaning drop kiosk off at Tops Market KSK?

I ´ve been twice to Washy Mashy. First time I wanted my english harrington jacket to dry clean. The man told me, cannot cannot. After some talking it was possible and they did a good job. Second time I brought a Smedley poloshirt in 100% sea island cotton. Again, sorry cannot do. I went out and never return to this place. So not a big loss for me.

Yeah, me too. The sign said "Come here and drop your pants."
