Immigration

Featured Replies

I tried to book the online questions for an extension and every day has "reserved" on it thru January. My visa expires in January so what do I do? I got 90 days when I landed because I am married with 2 kids (thai). Wanting advice about getting my one year extension and licenses for cycle and car.

Lots of info & experiences in that topic.

Basically due to your waiting too long to book your probably out

of luck for an online appointment

Your only other option now is to get in line early on the day you want to go.

Leave many days as possible as there is no guarantee you will get in on 1st try

Next year if still here start trying to book online from 100 days out

PS: One other option is hire a visa agent who will get it done for you at a price

of about 5000 baht + fees so roughly 7k

Licenses for car and bike come from the LTO.. You will need a residence slip (or a yellow house book, work permit, embassy letter) which you get from immigration at the promenada rd location..

The rest can easily be answered researching here.. House map.. House photos.. Family Photos.. 400k in a Thai bank for 2 - 3 months (2 first time 3 each time after).. Letter from bank to say so.. Marriage papers from amphur and cert.. Your Passport copies.. Her ID copies.. Tabien baan of house you live and rental contract if rental.. IIRC thats the checklist.
