Swampy to Lahan Sai - Ban Kruat bus timetable latest please

Featured Replies

Looking for the latest info.

I arrive early morning7am.

I wish to travel by bus from Suvarnabhumi airport with the hope of getting to either Lahan Sai or Ban Kruat In one day.

May need to go to Morchip bus terminal?

I don't wish to fly or catch a taxi and mini vans if possible

I am a seasoned Thai tourist

Hi,

You will need to go to Mochit and take bus to Surin or Ubon. Another way is to go to Korat and then take another bus to Surin, but it will require more bus changes. You will need to get off at Prakhonchai bus station and then take a local bus from there to go to Ban Kruat. You can also ask someone to pick you up from Prakhonchai bus.

You have options to take Nakhonchai Air bus or a VIP bus to get to Prakhonchai.

All the best.

I followed this - http://opportunitythailand.org/contact/TouristTravel/Bangkok-NangRong.html - and changed in Nang Rong, when I did the same journey in 2013. Was very easy.

Another way which avoids travelling into Bangkok is get the bus directly from Suvarnabhumi to Aranyaprathet, then change there onto a Northern bound bus to Buriram etc. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g293916-i3687-k6210146-Suvarnabhumi_Bus_to_Aranyaprathet-Bangkok.html

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

My flight time has changed so it looks like a mini van trip.
