It was great. Left CMU at 2:05, and was eating by DK Books at 2:50. 90 day report....so fast. I wasn't due until Jan 6, but with the holidays coming up, I figured it might pay off......I had also heard no more grace periods...I meant to check that out, and was in and out so fast I am not 100% sure, but I did not see the 15/7 sign that used to be on the counter. Also, my new slip has a computerized bar-code on it of my passport number...so it appears they are doing some automation.

You know you've been in Thailand too long when... you're happy you had the pleasure of visiting immigration on Christmas Day and were not inconvenienced as much as normal because it was quieter, but had your time wasted nonetheless by performing the ridiculous requirement of having to divulge the address of your home for the umpteenth time!
