Depression...the silent reaper has claimed another young soul.

I apologise for this morbid thread,,,,but I need to let it be known to the rest of the world.

Today 26th December 2014, a young life was sadly taken away from us.

A young 32 year old, very beautiful school teacher at our local Primary School, was found this morning haven taken her own life by hanging.

I know it will not make the headlines as did my favourite comedian Robin Williams, but it still deserves the attention needed in our society (the human race), that this silent killer should be made aware to all of us to be not silent, and talk about it.....I know because I have been in that dark room with no windows or doors, and with the help of friends here on TV I slowly, was able to claw my way out of that dark room.

Only sketchy details, but from what I understand, she was depressed about not being able to be with her boyfriend.

I really don't want to go into more details, but our village is Pong Krating, Banka.....and she always appeared as a happy going, likeable young woman. Highly respected in the village and we are all in shock.

May she be at peace now.

Thank You.

Rob.

You never know what dark secrets a friend is keeping inside. I too had a friend take his life, but he was so happy and normal on the outside. Depression is a treatable lllness, but hard to tell when to intercede.

If you find yourself in that dark corner, please find someone you can talk too, often just a listening ear will help.

Sad to hear this. Many people who are depressed can appear joyful in public. Especially when they don't want to admit to themselves that there is a problem.

Depression can be cured in most cases. If you think you have depressions, do some online tests and see the results. If in doubt go to see a professional.

I guess a lot of us have been touched by the presence of suicide, when it comes from someone close, and is unexpected, it can be doubly hard.

She is now at peace
