French man found hanged in Koh Tao with his hands tied behind his back – foul play suspected

I would like to see anyone on this forum try to tie their hands behind their back. See how easy it is.

Then simply step through

Ok well that was easy enough. Can you now show me a video of someone stepping thru their tied hands.

But their hands must be as tightly tied as the French guys were, not just some loose tie like she made.

Was there a chair. He looks like very tall and look like feet could touch floor

If you have examined the publicly available photos, and can suggest an alternative to the rail, let us hear it. It appears his feet, when found, were above the level of anything else on the verandah/

CSILA

I don't know what you are looking at. I can barely see the verandah clearly. There may be a pushed over chair that you can't see clearly.

I hope mod sees this and remove this personal attack ! Do you think we support murderers ? We want the truth not some social media bullshit.

What do you see. I have looked and looked. You cannot see the back part of the veranda. There might be a stool fallen down on the floor. You can't bloody see it properly I tell you. ?

I assume you reviewed the PM that I sent you. The first photo is the best for this question. It is true that part of the verandah is partially obscured by the panel around the verandah rail, but anything big enough and tall enough to stand on that had been kicked out of the way would still almost certainly be partially visible.

Instead of blaming posters on this forum you should question Dr Michael Biggs, who claimed that Nick had 237mg of alcohol in his blood. I would think that he only came to that conclusion after Nick's blood was tested for alcohol content, but of course I have no doubts that the family could figure out from 10.000 Km distance if he was drunk or not.

I have no doubts that the family could figure out from 10.000 Km distance if he was drunk or not.

Sometimes, silence is a great friend, especially when someone doesn't know the facts...

Facts have never been a limiting factor for the apologists.

No one knows if this was suicide or not yet, however unlikely it seems but, the foolish 4 are out in strength to derail any notion of foul play.

They will, at all costs, defend the dangerous destination of Death Island regardless of how many visitors meet untimely deaths.

Cash is God to them and their ilk.

So because a few people say it was suicide especially since a close friend of the victim asked to accept it, we are declared fools, but the conspiracy theorists which are in abundance on this forum who say it was murder, and even without any evidence accuse certain Thai people of being the murderer, are considered what?

Could it be that they are keyboard warriors with a sick brain?

The location Dimitri was reported found is a "rented beach side bungalow at Moo 3 Koh Tao". This is not very precise, and photos suggest that it was not exactly on the beach. Fwiw, Moo 3 implies the Southern end of the island, some way from Ocean Front Bungalows where Hannah and David were staying. If Dimitri was home (and staying in this bungalow at the time) he likely would not have heard or seen anything of the events early morning September 15.

"questions are being asked as to how it is possible for anybody to commit suicide with their hand tied behind their back."

Or more importantly, how is it possible to tie your own hands behind your own back?

Bet the police are desperately trying to figure out how to prove that is is indeed possible, so they can close the case as suicide :-)

Things happen in a a destination with approx 1 mio tourists per year and a lot of them are so far off the would be at risk even in their own countries

Rest in peace to anyone who lost or took his life

I think we should gossip more about what happen at other destination too

Just to keep it interesting perhaps

However, In Thailand, "Thangs " happen way too often, compared to other countries

Good point BT, but there was a football tornament on the 14th with a big party afterwards so he might have been socialising..... and the only reference I have read of Hanna having an argument with some Thai guys in the AC bar is attributed to an unnamed French man, who apparently took a photo (not seen) of the altercation and passed the photo to the BIB, I am not talking about the photo taken by Sean in the 7/11, even though that photo was used in the news article.

No conspiracy theories on this one please.

Rest in peace to the victim.

Yes, no truth on the incident ...move along please..

Actually it was meant tongue in cheek at the time considering the double murder and the not so hilarious farce that's gone on since.

However, having actually bothered to look and learn, I genuinely think this was a suicide.

Let us hope that the French government will not be as supine as their UK counterparts and demand a full investigation is done, led by the military from Bangkok, and that the true perpetrators of this and other crimes are brought to book.

For now, my plans to relocate with my Thai wife to Thailand are on indefinite hold. We are safer here in the Middle East. She's from Pattani. A lovely town in what should be a wonderful country.

Thai authorities, get a grip before it is too late.

I doubt the French have any more clout than the British. They can try the EU route. Germany would have more clout than Britain and France, but even so, no country would really allow another to dictate its internal processes.

If France makes a noise the Thais will make the usual platitudes - assurances of a first class investigation by a force who already tried to pass this off as suicide and completely screwed their investigation into the murder of 2 Brits.

There was another young Brit from Bristol found dead after the previous murder.BBC reported local police had informed his mum in Bristol. That story seems to have totally died now.

If you're in Bahrain, Qatar, UAE or Oman and can keep working then I'd stay there if I were you, for the time being.

This one?

But T.A.T. says its safe in L.O.S.

The book I wrote in 2013: "A Place To Be Killed, Tourist Alert Thailand" (on Amazon ebooks) would sell more copies, but I have to be anonymous, or I'll be another farang that dies of unnatural causes in the Kingdom..

By the way, Phuket authorities stopped publishing monthly numbers of tourist deaths in April 2012 - because revealing the numbers would hurt tourism...HELLO?

signed,

the truth kills..

Gave my reasons back around Page 9 I think.
