I'm a little confused by your post. Do you mean West East Travel's companion fare? I think that is £300 with EVA and £320 with THAI.

Sorry you didnt get the flight you wanted but these companion deals I have always found are usually similar to the packages offered when they want to book you (2 sharing-usually) into a local flee pit hotel as part of the discount-holiday deal. :D

ie.r/t normal fare is £450 or something but if you take the holiday deal its £399 but you gotta stay for 7 nights in the **** Pattaya Slumbox followed by 3 nights in the *** Bangkok God Help Me Hotel.

Suggest "can I just take the flight without the accomodation?" and you would think that you are asking for the formulae to split the atom :o
