January 24, 201511 yr The sad news that Ronnie Ronalde passed away a couple of days ago prompted the thought that one hardly ever hears people whistling tunefully anymore. January 24, 201511 yr I whistle all the time. I whistle while I work; I whistle at hot legs in heels (carefully); I whistle for a taxi. But I rarely here anyone whistling anymore. I have never heard a Thai whistle. In fact, they are always amused when I call my dogs, and they come running. The dogs, not the Thais.

February 6, 201511 yr ...I have never heard a Thai whistle...Whistling in Thailand = calling the ghosts...Stop it, it's annoying, like people who soliloquize.
February 7, 201511 yr I have a neighbour, never seen, who whistles when he comes home from work. At six ish.
