We were Sox fans when I was a kid growing up in Chicago, but still loved Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, and Billy Williams.

Never got the sense that any of them would be in the headlines for the stuff you see today. Ah, for the simpler days...

BTW, the whole family converted to Cub fans in the '60's- Bleacher Bums, we became.
