Ear plugs

Featured Replies

Hello,

Anyone know a place in CM where I can buy earplugs so my sister-in-law can sleep better? She isn't used to the roosters. Thanks!

Almost every drug store carries both the foam type and the wax/sillicon type. Personally, I find the foam one to be the most comfortable as well as the most noise reducing. Just squeeze them between thumb and forefinger, rolling them into a narrow cylinder, press down part-way into the ear canal, and let them expand filling the cavity. Easy to put in, comfortable to wear, easy to remove.

I tried every kind of ear stopper. Non really work that well. A fan running does better.

Big C or Home Pro sell 3M soft silicone plugs for 90 Baht something. I wear ear protection all day long at work and have found these pretty good. Never could get on with the foam type. Use a dab of cream to ease them in at first if you are not used to them.

Ear plugs are mandatory in Thailand. They should hand them out upon arrival.

Buy a cheap portable CD player and download some white noise sounds and burn to a CD. Works wonders!

When the rooster sings, it's time to get up and going. Why dream your life away?
