Wish he'd start pulling his weight,  he's been anonymous this season.

Agree, but same can be said for Alli & Kane as well, anyway maybe this new contract will settle him

back to his former best, he did score a great goal for Denmark the other day!

Danny Rose out with hamstring injury.  Lloris should be available but very harsh to drop Vorm the way he's performed in Hugo's absence.

If he pulls this off successfully then it will be the biggest move in world sport.

An NFL franchise & big name PL team playing double headers on the same day in the same stadium.

The revenue streams would be absolutely enormous

Will do wonders for your pitch as well. Make sure Spurs play the first game of the doubleheader.

With the quality of surface available these days i can't see that being an issue and frankly it should have been one of the first aspects covered.  Hope i'm right!!

NFL football played on a wet pitch ?! A groundskeeper's nightmare Carms. Good luck with the new "revenue stream".

Its a retractable pitch with another underneath is how I read it so shouldn't be any issue.

That would take care of it.

I do wish you would allow me to criticize Levy even if I'm wrong.

Some interesting technology to keep the lower grass in tip top condition.

I'll explain it to you sometime. :D:D:D

Apart from the first 10mins, we played some good football, especially Eriksen with 2 assists for

Son's opening, and well taken 2 goals.

Son injected some needed pace in to the team, and looked like the player we signed at the start

of last season before his injury, it'll be harsh if Poch drops him after that performance with Lamela

being rested, he'll probably rotate them.

Kane & Alli both scoring was an added bonus.

Good performance and a real bonus to see Son back playing and playing well.  Eriksen too for that matter.

I still find it concerning why we are starting so sluggishly.  No high tempo, no intensity in us.  What is it?

I thought Davies came in and did very well and its such a bonus for us to have two players sharing such a specialist position.

Dembele back next week,  I reckon Wanyama will start on the bech with Moussa alongside Dier.  With him back i think we will see a marked improvement in us and more like the side of most of last season.

Dembele could play in midweek against Monaco, depending if he's 100% match fit or not, but i expect he'll definitely play some part.

Playing our home games at wembley though could take it's toll on him, with it being a much bigger pitch than at WHL.

Great finishes from Son. Be interesting to see how much time he gets. Were I Pochettino it would be hard to forget how easy that looked for Son.

A big plus from a somewhat forgotten player heading into CL play.

Well played Tottenham....goals shared around and back in the top four where we belong.

Happy days!

Top Four ???  put your specs on, 5 th place,   where u will end up,  or further down the table !!!!

REASON=

Spuds are full of wind ,got a bit lucky last season when m/u  and c/sea both had dismal  years  together allowing, the two pretenders Spuds and Leicester  to take their C/L  places, this situation will be reversed back to the normal top 4 C/L this season, enjoy your C/L  hidings  while u got them  !!!!

a lovely morning to all my fans on the footy forum:)

Do you think Man U will finish in the top 4 because of their new manager?

You know, the one that you thought was so special that you ended up having a man crush

on him!

He sounds incredibly bitter this morning doesn't he?

A draw and having to watch the big clubs playing without him must be hurting bless.

He's not one of the 6000 clearly.

any links for tonight?

Horseshoe Bar Glasgow for me for this one....looking forward to hearing the CL tune and our lads lined up looking to smash it.

Last time I was in London for all the games....different atmosphere but I will make the best of it.

The fact they are the in form team in France doesn't detract from our poor first half performance.

Need to sharpen up for the CL....hopefully they will have realised this before the next game.
