Any Alternative Music bars/venues in Bangkok?
I must have been lucky then. Some 40 years ago I was there and checked into a dump called the White House Hotel. Nearby I found a Cafe serving breakfast. Toast , ham eggs etc. The waitress wanted to practice her English. Took me out in the evening after work to show me some MTV places she enjoyed. I ended up moving in with her a week later. In the meantime I was also befriended by two female students who also showed me around. All in all I found the local women refreshingly open and honest and all insisted on American shares for everything. Even bought me gifts ! As for music, nice list but check out some new Indy stuff. A lot out there. YouTube Solarium by The Groovy Nobody. Others of note , Skinshape , common saints , psychedelic octopus. Far Caspian....too many to list. And yes, Saxophone club is good. Been there forever. -

Avoid to pay tax
sounds right...but I am no tax expert and I know Iwon't have to pay anything in thailand but what I do realize, is that even if we don't have to pay any taxes, the odds are that we all will have more trees to be killed due to the paperwork that will be necessary for us to fill out probably every year! -
