Soi Dog Foundation to hold fourth mobile adoption event in Phuket

Do Soi dog foundation educate people about neutering

I mean that would do more in the long term than just picking up their unwanted dogs and finding them homes.

yes they do both. have a look at the homepage. Paws also educate.

Soi Dog Foundation has been operating for a number of years in Thailand and from their website to date have only managed to achieve 'over 77,000 dogs and cats sterilised'. In comparison I believe the dog population in Thailand is around 9 million, mostly untrained & not managed. Soi Dog also operates in places such as US. How many dogs have they 'saved' in the US as the euthanasia rates in US is in the millions.

Seems to me that Soi Dogs efforts are a drop in the ocean and perhaps would have better results in lobbying Amphurs / government to increase funding for education on animal care, more effective dog shelters etc. I have previously read the death rate in Thai dog shelters is around 70% due to lack of care / underfunding

idiots, what we need is a culling event not adoption

The Vietnamese are quite keen on dog meat. Why not have a massive cull funded by exporting the meat to Vietnam? It's no different from what we do to cows, pigs, chickens
