yes true, more disturbing is that the same thing happens at courts. Judges are at the same time consultants of organisations that are paid by some interest groups (see judges in "The Piratebay" case).

Point is: it is not only a medical problem it is a society problem.

what i find amusing, is that most of the people that read the health forum are actually drug addicts but dont realise it yet , look at the response to a question about a particular sleeping tablet , or blood pressure meds, viagra etc etc ..addicts dont like to read the truth about the dealers ...so of course the addicts and the dealers do not want to watch any negatives , sad world when the sheep just accept this as the norm ....

yes strange, if a doctor would have given healthy kids psychopharmaca 35 years ago in Europe they would have taken his license. Now it is normal.

Back then were the jokes about the Hypochondrin and Placebol.....some Doctors (with the help of pharmacy who mixed themself) prescript some non working harmless but ugly medicine for these customer who demanded to get medicine.

Partially it is replaced with a more modern form called Homeopathic, but most people eat medications without reason.

My parents (over 70) told me that the docs look at them with wide eyes if they say they don't use any medication.....or just sometimes 1 Aspirin if they have an headache, but more often a glass of wine does the same.

And beside getting a cold (congested nose) once a year working in the cold wet they are never sick......
