Hello everybody,

I am married for 6 years with a wonderful thai woman and we live in Paris. Life is great with her, and i thank Buddha everyday for meeting her. But there is something that seems very strange to me : every once in a while, when i come back home from work, i find she has changed things from one place to an other : some table in the back of the living room is now by the window, some artefacts on the bookshelves now stands in the bedroom, and the plants are frequently travelling from one room to an other. I clarify that i dont mind it at all. I only wish one day she dont need to change her husband for an other...

And i clarify too that she's not bored because she works and has a real social and professional life here.

I wonder if you guys have already noticed such behaviours with your thai wife, or is it only mine ?

Don't all women rearrange the room on a regular bases?

Lucky me I never notice if things are somewhere else because I anyway don't know where they have been in the first place-except my tools..

Whenever I need something I ask my wife...much easier than to look around...

She may or may not know about feng shui but she has probably grown up in a house where similar rules and all kinds of other superstitions, customs and habits apply (for example - thanking Buddha for good luck).

From what you have described, she just seems to enjoy rearranging the house. But, if you want to know why, you could ask her.

Lots of Thai-Chinese take feng shui very seriously, and bored wifes too

You should pre-empt your wifes behavior, by changing her for another woman.

My wife does it constantly. Sometimes she does this before she goes to bed and I have been out to meet a friend. I come home and do not bother to turn a rooms lights on and "BAM!" I have just about broke my toe by walking into something she has moved as it was not there before I went out. It could be she just had a new idea on how a room could look or she has something on her mind and it helps her to relax. All I know is that I ask my wife to tell me, before I go out please! Tell me if you feel like moving stuff around before I go out so I will turn the damn lights on.

I've been married to Thai about 6 months. In USA. She's livid and upset that she saw that I'd sent text messages to Ex wife. I sent mesage about child between Ex and I. Ex asked about my job search which I mentioned. This is because I am getting laid off and I asked ex wife about putting daughters on her insurance before I'm laid off.

Anyway, that came up on Valentines day and came up again today. That AND previous relationships I don't care about. She cares. I don't ask about her past or care (she has an ex-husband).

Anyway, she said she will go back to Thailand or some crap. Whatever. She can go if she is not happy. Ive' done a lot for her and made her life much better and she will have a good future either way (she was career government, but up to her butt in debt). Now she can work in America. I got her here. I paid for her daughter's medical care. I won't pay for her debt, she can do that.

I won't feel bad if she leaves. Fine with me. I can love someone, but I'm never going to get worked up over issues.

Moving plants to different locations to provide some sun is logical. After they get sun switch with other plants located in dark areas.

It sounds like boredom. Maybe she's doing it in the hope you notice and ask her about it/chat, etc?

OP why are you bothered that she is moving things?

Start to worry when she is not home then gives you the stupid response !! just visiting my brother !!
