It's worth to go there and see plays of the four minority groups that had been around in this area many moons ago.

These were: "Suai"- Yeur- Lao- and Khmer.

A ticket for a "VIP" table with food and soft drinks for about seven people was 1,000 baht a few years ago, but is 1,500 baht now.

The staff that serves you food are all Thai teachers from Anuban Sisaket, who really have to work their -deleted- off on a all days.

When I worked for said school the governor of Sisaket always loved to make some "shows" done by using foreigners

Catching eels was one pretty funny event, where I couldn't say no, as they did it the Thai way. No excuse accepted.

The other year my wife and I'd won the "cake eating competition. we were both blindfolded and she basically stuffed me like a Turkey.

The first event was fantastic. All foreigners who lived in Sisaket, or surrounded areas were invited to watch the Lamduan ( while the teachers from my school had to serve us well Festival.

The day started with a trip, escorted by cops who drove in front of us to ensure green light for us, to Khap Paer Wihan Temple, lunch at the governor's house somewhere between Sisaket and Kantharalak.

The Somdet Park is also a nice place to go for a walk, at the end of the park is a zoo, when you walk over the bridge to the zoo, there're millions of big fish to feed
