Where do you go for a quiet drink? Specifically when I just want to watch football or something. I've been going to the new Beer Garden at Kosit, but even their music gets a bit loud.

Have you tried Present bar beside the 'new' bus station, I know they sometimes show sports on their tvs.

There are a few bars/restaurants along that stretch on the left near the water, passed the bus station, that have large screen sports playing.

Seeing as football as in English premier league is shown live on a Saturday or Sunday night I can't imagine you will find to many quiet places,pair that with the fact that in Phetchabun you are limited to a small number of bars actually showing live sport and all you get is busy restaurant type settings and larger numbers.

Soi 7 is the same in Lom Sak also that's why I generally watch it from the comfort of my sofa.

If it's just a quiet beer you want I know of a few nice places along the 21 probably to far out of town though.
