but what about the speedtest result of download 405 and the upload 144 , against the paid for package of download 256 and upload of 128.

how can it be faster than the tot ,getting more than i paid for ......its just not possible.

this is thailand after all.

Check that bill .... see if they are charging you for 512/256 (if not ... shhhhhhhh they had to have set you up for that or faster!)

I have setup a new broadband speed test here:

The test measures download and upload speed to our new server located in Singapore, which is located direct on the international backbone.

George, are you cheating people? With any broadband speed test here in Europe my download speed is over 4'400 kbps anytime. Your test shows always between 300 and 400 kbps!

500/month for 256 tot.

Upload Speed: 685 kbps (85.6 KB/sec transfer rate)

..this was one of the only tests that gave a higher download than upload speed!

download about 130 kbps

upload about 70 something kbps

true 256/128 -

just downgraded it from the 1mbps package, as I never got those speeds as promised.

but its now sunday eve - probably many people on the net.

good enough to read texts, troublesome for major downloads.

Tot, 1024kbps line, 1000 Baht per month jobby!

OK - My ISP is J-Net ADSL transfer rates below - what can be done about this? Or is it the old Your in Thailand?
