It was going along ok out here in Mae Rim until a few days ago. Then one morning I noticed smoke which I thought was coming from near the missus land. Checked that out and luckily no fire there or anywhere nearby. Located the smoke was actually billowing from the Army land! Grrrr..... and that seemed to prompt anyone who wanted to burn stuff to go right ahead and light up.

So yeah now we have smoke everywhere. ...not to impressed that the Army started the ball rolling. But luckily its not year round.

Can't see the mountain from Nimmanhamin? Hell, we were just on the Canal Road and couldn't see the mountain. Almost couldn't see the Stadium!

Time to break out the N95 masks...

Coming from Baan Tawai to CM this morning, around 11am, it was the worst we have seen during this so called "burning season" you know where lighting fires is banned !

The air was putrid and as we dropped our visitors at the airport there was a "never again" comment. Would be interesting to see from the air where it is worse
