24 hr restaurant

Featured Replies

does anyone frequent the 24hr restauarnat on the top of the moat, sam kampang i think its called??? anytime ive ventured in there in the morning 6am or thereabouts im told 'no have' for certain pages in the menu, my level of thai makes it impossible for me to inquire why. So does anyone know why they cant have something as humble as kao phad gai (fried rice with chicken) available in the morning??? this was not an isolated occurrence, on several occasions i have been told no have for this dish which seems ridiculous

Sometimes they go to the markets to buy fresh food at some point in the morning so don't expect much in the way of fresh food before then, especially if they were busy the day before.

I will make a wild guess ...do you mean Jok Somphet? Maybe they shop or have deliveries later in the day so didn't have chicken for your fried rice, anyway they always will have something availabe. Maybe they don't have kitchen staff at that hour, many people go there for the jok or the baked chicken.

never ever none jok som pet run out of chicken, there trays are always full.

Jok Som Phet way over priced on Dim Sum. Avoid those delicacies. The white gruel OK, but best with egg.
