Recommended house painter?

I thought I had located a reputable house painter and planned to use him based on recommendations from 3 other home owners in our East Pattaya village.

9 months later when I was ready to have him do the job, he revised his price upwards BY 100% !!!!

I'm wondering if any readers have used a painter (who came to them with high credentials) and with whom you were equally impressed by the quality of their workmanship and the fairness of their price.

One advantage I can offer a painter is that I can be very flexible about them working my job around other work so long as it is finished within a 6 month period.

Any leads you can offer will be gratefully accepted.
