Thundershowers forecast in North East and East Coast of Thailand until tomorrow

BANGKOK, 16 March 2015 (NNT)-Thundershowers have been forecast for the lower region of Thailand’s Northeast and East Coast today due to the high pressure system in the Southern China Sea.

According to the Meteorological Department, the overall temperatures around Thailand have increased today and will remain the same until tomorrow morning.

The North of Thailand will be cloudy and hot today while thundershowers are expected in both the Eastern and Northeastern provinces.The temperature will also be quite high during the day.

People in Nakhon Racthasrima, Surin, Sisaket, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Prajinburi, Sakeaw, Chantaburi and Trat have been told to brace for adverse weather conditions during this time.

It will be partly cloudy in the South of the country, Sea waves could reach 1 meter high. Residents of Bangkok and its vicinity could expect higher temperatures and cloudy sky at noon.
