OK, next March I am thinking it might be a better idea to leave Chiang Mai for the burning season (you think?!) and seek a change of venue in either the Cha am or Krabi coastal area. Yeah, I know a long time off but I would like to get some local area input. Is it possible to find comfortable monthlong digs for a reasonable cost? Any particular personal knowledge citations appreciated, especially if sent as a private message. Time enough to explore the Internet but good local knowledge is invaluable. Figure on driving down so would have transport to drive into Hua Hin or Krabi proper for shopping, etc.

no problem this year in phuket, Rooms 3,000-xxxx, condos/apts 8,000- xxxxx, homes 12,000- xxxx/month
