This is the first time since 2002 that a World Ranking 15 ball snooker event will be taking place in this city, I went to the Bangkok Open back in 2002 and saw Ronnie in action. Sadly he will not be here this year but all the other top players will be. Tickets are reasonably priced, though promotion seems to be a bit low key, I only found out about it through a snooker website.

Too far for me to travel to and from each day, hopefully will be on the television.

The best venue I went to watch snooker was the Ambassador Hotel years ago.

Remember watching Wattana come from behind in some game against Mark Williams, his mother was in the foyer watching on a large secreen tv being treated like royalty.
