Fewewr parties on Koh Samui

Featured Replies

whistling.gif I just read this morning in the "other English Newspaper" (the Bangkok Post) that it has been announced that only the Full Moon parties will continue on Koh Samui. Half Moon parties and such are to be suspended.

Anyone heard anything about this?

Very old news & pertaining to KPG & not Samui as such.

By my count this is the 3rd ban in the past year.

1st: Due to the curfew under martial law, lifted in time for the full moon party.

2nd: Banned by the police for security reasons in September I believe, lifted in time for high season in December.

3rd: Now this time just after high season ends.

Anyone want to takes bets on when this ban will be lifted?
