Opensuse 10.1 Display Thai Font

Featured Replies

I have been using opensuse linux 10.1 for a while and very happy with it. I import Thai font from window into opensuse linux and use it in Openoffice. It works great.

Now, i go further by using an application win32 run it on opensuse linux via wine. It works ok but i have a problem about viewing Thai data. The application is a client-server program and using mysql for database. I can do my normal work and operation with win32 application except i can't view the data in Thai language ( for english data is fine).

I was wondering if anyone know how to change a opensuse linux system font or how to set up a configuration in order to view a thai language in win32 application run via wine.

Thank you in advance.

Have a nice day.

Interesting question, i have the same problem with a Thai translation Program that runs via Wine but shows me the" freaky stuff" instead of Thai Language... any ideas how to resolve this?

btw i use kubuntu 6.06 on that machine.....the other one running on Suse 10.1 displays the Thai Language on the same program....

Any advise?

thanks for the feedback,

I had similar problems with Crossover Office Pro 5.01 (the commercial version of Wine) and it seems to be fixed with the latest upgrade to Crossover Office 5.03.
