90 days report in Patong

Featured Replies

Changes in the procedure: You will need photocopies of your passport now. When I went there this morning I was told about it. There is a small office box attached to the Immigration building, where you can get your photocopies at a rate of 10 Baht per page. I went home and printed out my document which has copies of all pages of the passport and returned to the office. The copies were accepted (scaled down so 4 passport pages fit to one A4 page) without problems, and the report was filed within about 4 minutes (for free), which would have taken hours in Phuket City.

Just don't forget to bring your own copies.

Nothing new - already discussed last month http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/781699-report-on-90-day-report-phuket-town/page-5#entry9239435

But more importantly there are now reports of successful 90 day registration with the online system http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/812263-online-90-day-reporting-available-from-april-1st/

Did my 90 day report in Patong yesterday at 10am. Not too many people. Having a copy was new to me. Last two times there, they just scanned the barcode. So, 20 minutes and 20 Baht later, I was back in line. Funny thing is; the two guys in front of me didn't have copies for their 90 day report, and they had no problems. A quick scan of barcode, and they were on there way.

That office would be much more efficient with a 90 day report only line, and window. No need to go in, just one of those double glass, bank type windows with the little slot under it.

I'll give the online route a go next time. smile.png
