Internet via PA Cable Patong

Featured Replies

Apologies if this Q+A has already been flogged to death.

I subscribe to PA cable TV in Patong. I want to bring internet into my Condo, but I have no phone line any more. PA Cable offer Internet access through the TV cable.

Is anyone using this service? Is it worth installing?

I tried PA internet a number of years ago when they introduced this option. Installed at 2 of our properties. Was OK,no real problems. Used it for a few years, but last year we replaced with 3BB fibre and cancelled PA.

Well I went to PA and asked, the service is no longer offered. They directed me to the 3BB office in Patong, I was online 2 days later. But I had to pay upfront for a year, total about 7500 Baht for 10 Meg line (plus 2k to run a cable into my place), which so far appears to be run at 7-9 Meg.
