I will freely admit to NOT being a good photographer, I just snap whatever takes my attention and hope for the best, no Photoshop for me, that is far too complicated, instead you will get the raw images as they appear on my camera (a Sony AX 57) the following are some shots from Sangklaburi and it's famous wooden bridge.imageproxy.php?img=&key=3bccf9db2954ff32imageproxy.php?img=&key=3bccf9db2954ff32imageproxy.php?img=&key=3bccf9db2954ff32

This is the place we stayed at in Nan during our grand tour last year, in the middle of nowhere and really really nice, Nan Boutique resort if I remember rightly, if interested Google is your friend :jap: And I have nothing to do with this place, I just stayed there and was more than happy with the staff, service, food & accommodation.

Today along a red road during my MTBike balade

Once again I am posting pics of a place that we stayed at during our road trip, this time in Khon Kaen, or just outside  I will also reiterate that I have no affiliation to here, we were extremely lucky with all the places we stayed in, when we explained for example that we were driving from Nan to Khon Kaen the staff were very happy to call us while we were driving to make sure that we had no problems, I can assure you all that this happened on quite a few occasions, I can't remember the cost but it was probably about 1500 Baht a night B & B. Highly recommended

The rooms were extremely well appointed and the peace and quiet was great.

There are also houses/villas for rent, ideal for family groups, best check prices first though :clap2:

They do grow their own food and also have livestock, although I never found out if the Lamb Chops I had were raised there :whistling:

Our last stop before heading for home, Laem Sing beach, about 20 kms  out of Chanthaburi, considering it was late May the weather wasn't very kind to us, but it was just nice to relax by the beach and visit family as and when we wanted, very quiet area, recommended if you are ever in the area.

Looks familiar GT !
Last March went to Chanthaburi and also stayed one night at Laem Sing in a newish resort just over the beach road (4036).

Looks like they cleaned the beach because we walked along a stretch of it early evening and it was absolutely full of trash been washed up with the tide. I remember saying to the gf that it was a great shame because the place was idyllic and only lacking a clean up.

A couple of photos to complement yours .
