anyone know a good place for adults to learn to play tennis?

some place in the Silom/Siam/Chidlom/Victory Monument general area would be best....

National Stadium has some 25 courts.

They are back near Chula, a 10 minute walk from the BTS, National Stadium.

I am sure they have some teachers down there.

Nice facility with two backboards (not high walls though)

I suggest a BTS ride to Thong Lor, Soi 38 to Santisook Courts.

Down Soi 38, take first right turn and it is right around the bend

at the end of that street. 8 courts, 3 indoor. Lots of knockers and

pros to give lessons. Booked much of the time so call ahead.

It a little bit further out of the way - but we play at Fifty Tennis Club - on Sukhumvit Soi 50 (about 800meters from On Nut BTS) - hourly rates for the farang coach are 500 THB and the court during the day (before 6pm) are 140 THB - after 6pm 240 THB.

There are 6 courts and a gym upstairs - very friendly place that does not try and rip you off.
