I did a random test on my VPN yesterday and it failed.

Try these sites.

http://whoer.net/extended Look at the Interactive detection box then WebRTC. Does it show your real IP?

Or try this site.

http://diafygi.github.io/webrtc-ips/

I contacted my VPN provider and they sent me a work around solution that seems to work. I'm just surprised how long this flaw has been there and I thought it should be shared. The VPN companies may not care as long as we are feeling warm and fuzzy.

I think the second test site (diafygi.github.io) this has been posted before?

Now and then this test with CyberGhost does not reveal my real IP.

The first site (whoer) so far also shows no sign of problem, but wants to start some Java stuff on my PC. Will not allow.

As you say has been posted before by Chicog - http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/797634-how-to-fix-ip-being-revealed-when-using-vpn/?hl=+github

IE 11 does not reveal IP with that method.

As an aside I worry about CyberGhost sometimes. Yesterday pm it said my original location was in China but looking up the IP address it quoted showed it registered to True.........
