Removal of face scar. Plastic surgereon in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

A friend of mine needs to have a small scar removed from his face. Naturally he is worried about getting a larger scar if the process went wrong or done by wrong hand.

Where are the most skilled plastic surgeon with experience in removing face scars are to be found in Bangkok... Not looking for plastic surgeon of celebrities but for the average person...

Likely many locals would be using beauty type clinics but would not recommend. All larger hospitals will have a plastic surgeon on staff, normally in there skin clinic, and they will have access to OR or emergency services if required. Most will have extensive experience and will be willing to provide information. Costs will reflect the higher experience of such doctors however.

Depending on the depth of scar and whether there is a tissue build up - such as in keloid build up ... a raised rose colored welt... then it is possible the scar can be greatly reduced with a cream / ointment called Retin-A. And there are others. I have seen serious sunburn crescent shaped scars under a woman eyes near totally removed with application of Retin-A over several months.

You might want to check it out ...

Be AWARE !

Surgery cannot "remove" a scar. At best surgery can improve the appearance of a scar but there will still be a scar !
