A Thai national has been arrested in Poipet following the fatal shooting of a compatriot, Cambodian police confirmed. Authorities said 26‑year‑old Porawat Thong Hmon was detained on 29 July at Samaki Meanchey Village after a joint operation involving national, provincial and municipal forces. Officers seized two handguns and two shotguns during the arrest.
