Hiring at taxi in CM (not at the airport)

Does anyone have a recommendation for a reliable taxi service company in CM? I've never tried to call a phone number and hire one and have only used them leaving from the airport.

Try the white taxis inside the airport..they are good value.

Aussie, the title said Not at that airport. He wants a private taxi that he can call.

If you are staying near a hotel, they would definitely arrange for you.

I have the number of a good van driver but not a car.

I guess it's been to long since I was there.They had songthew's that would act like Taxi's and tuck tuk's.No regular car types.
