Plaza 89 Nong Hoi

Tried to google this to see what's there but doesn't seem to be a website dedicated to it or listing all the shops and amenities that I coul find. Is there one?

I know there is a ripping supermarket there, a pharmacy and a couple of restaurants I recall are a Mexican.

What other shops are there pls? Is there a bank or gym nearby too?

Thanks

Definatelyl no Rimping market/store. Two banks, 7-11, Tesco Lotus, a couple pharmacies, couple massage shops, small independent clothes outlets, 5 star chicken, few restaurants (Tex Mex, Malli's Quitiou (noodle shop), numerous food stalls, bakeries, motor cycle shop and on Mon and Wed afternoon/nights, a rotating market that sells food, clothes, veggies, etc. Oh, there's also a large food court in the back off the road. Probably more, that's what off the top of my head.

Expanding on jimmy's post -

Bangkok Bank and Kasikorn Bank.

Tesco Lotus Express.

G-Long restaurant.

Royal Project shop.

One of the pharmacies is excellent. Pretty good English and sound advice. Farang friend has been using it for years and recommended it to me.

Don't know about the newer pharmacy which only opened recently.

Where did the OP get to know there is a "ripping supermarket there"?

BigC hang dong Mae His or Superhighway possibly closest although Makro and local markets far better and cheaper than the major supermarkets.

Rim Ping Promenada is closest in time to get there, Rim Ping Nawarat is closest in distance.

From 69 Plaza it's:

3.7 kms to Rim Ping Nawarat (the one near the Iron Bridge)

4 kms to Promenada which includes a really good Rim Ping supermarket. Also 4kms to Big C Don Chan.

Big C Hang Dong and Makro Hang Dong it's about 7.5 kms.

Rented a house near there. Been to the noodle shop a few times, can recommend that. Also been to the food court at the back and the place that serves Issan food.

Can anyone recommend any other good thai eatery establishments not too far away either towards Saraphi or back towards CM please?

Directions would be useful too if anyone recommends anywhere as I don't know the area that well.

Thanks

Auf Der Au does a weekend buffet for 249 bt .... German style smoked, braised, cured meats, vegetable and salad plus loads of cakes and homemade bread. About 300m south of the #121 intersection on left side.

Addit: directions for heading south on Lamphun road from Plaza 89.

Nana Bakery on the soi that leads into Siriwattana off the CM-Lamphun Road.

They get my vote for the best crossiants in town... other stuff too, and reasonably priced.
