I am 36 and reside in Melbourne Australia.Can any farang/expat that can assist me which is the most efficient and cost effective process to settle in Thailand.

Know with the changes with Visa's it's going to make it difficult to reside in Tailand.I hate the border runs, they are a nuisance and expensive over a period of time.Surely there is a way that I can live in Thailand without these issue.

Your feedback and advice would be appreciated.

I think it was in one of the newspapers that they changed the rules for PR a few months ago to make it easier to do. I think you need to reside in Thailand for 3 years before you can apply but not sure. I would like to learn more about this also. Anyone done this recently????

And stage one of that process is living here for 3 years on a non imm visa..

Care to explain how to start the process of PR as I am all ears..
