Best plastic surgeon in chiang Mai degloving injury on leg

Featured Replies

I'm currently in Bangkok chiang Mai hospital which doesn't have a plastic surgery department.

They've called in Dr Annan who teaches at chiang Mai university and seems very competent but as this is a serious injury I'm just wondering if I have options for having another set of eyes on the problem.

So far he's operated to clean up the wound and is cleaning it daily while we wait for it to heal and be sure it's infection free before closing it with a skin graft.

If you want a second opinion I suggest either Dr. Somboon Chaisrisawadisuk or Dr. Wimon Sirimaharaj, both also at CMU.

Thank you. For now I've decided that dr anan is doing such a good job I don't want to upset him or anyone else especially since I have confidence in him. I was just thinking it's such a large wound it warrants a second opinion.

I asked for a second opinion on something else and it was kind of a big deal although in that case I did it because I didn't believe the dr had reviewed my case at all before giving his opinion.

I've heard recommendations for both of these doctors. Any recent experiences or recommendations? Feel free to PM me. Thanks
