Practice and ingraining muscle memory is generally good but only if you already know exactly what you should be doing. By itself it cannot really "improve" your swing. It may help make it more consistent.

IMHO to improve you probably need to take lessons and hit lots of real balls and ideally off a grass driving range, not mats, if at all possible.
