What online sites to find rentals in Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

Hello,

What are the best places online to find owners of condos/houses in Chiang Mai who are offering short-term rentals or sublets? Not real estate companies, but the direct owners. I travel there from Bangkok fairly often for short periods.

And in Chiang Mai, is there a good physical board somewhere where I can find or pin up such notices?

Thanks

Find the Rimping Market in the area you want to live in. The Nawarat store has a great bulletin board. I am just guessing here, but I have a hunch every Rimping does also.

There's plenty of pleasant guest houses, which might be cheaper by the month rather than longer rent and leaving the place empty.

Try a walk around the sois in the old city, or North of Huay Keaw Rd.

Then there's YMCA, which looks very neat and clean, no shortage of song teaws for easy transport.

There are "Groups" on the Facebook. In the search box, place the words "Chiang Mai .. . . . ". The following words I leave to your imagination. They could include ". . . . rentals", " . . . . . real estate", etc.

If you pick a building that you like, they will also have bulletin boards - you might also try baht and sold - but I think the best deals are going to be word of mouth or bulletin boards in the building… buyers/renters market -
