Consulate Hours

Hi all!

After a few hours of searching on the website, I still have a few unanswered questions:

1. Does anyone know what the opening hours and holidays are for the Thai consulate in Laos, Malaysia (Penang), or Singapore? Are consulates open on the weekend? I've tried e-mailing and calling the consulates directly, but no luck.

2. (For my friend), where can you get a multiple entry tourist visa? I tried to get one in Laos and was told only the single entry was available. Sorry if this is redundant with topics previously listed.

3. A small clarification: to apply for the non-immigrant B visa, I've heard that my school or company faxes the consulate I'm going to, I bring all my documents and the company's documents, and then pray to a higher power. Does my school or company have to write the Ministry of Labour first and get some letter of acceptance before I do this visa run?
